Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #1 Danhausen

Very Nice. Very Evil. Since arriving on the professional wrestling scene, Danhausen has met the status quo with innovation, improvisation, and a first of its kind character. What would you expect from someone intent on taking over the world? Or at minimum making as many sacks of money as possible. Danhausen has climbed the professional ladder by offering content new, fun, and irreverent, and already is going from not just wrestler to content creator. His path is always evolving, just like ours at PM.

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #2 Jen Cohn

Jen Cohn is producer, actress, fashion icon and the voice of Pharah from the bestselling game OVERWATCH. Besides her work as Pharah, she’s worked on WORLD OF WARCRAFT, STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC, and GRAND THEFT AUTO. But like PM and its founder, her creative path has been one with many swerves and pivots. Cohn discusses how spirits have factored into the business of networking, as well as how her personal preferences have evolved along with her professional life. Her road to success has never been a straight line, and the conversation shows that when following your passion is your north star, there can always be multiple industries, and multiple successes, on the horizon.

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #3 Dan Didio

Dan Didio has worn many hats across multiple creative industries. From his work in soap operas, to mainstream television, children’s animation, to his entry into the comic book industry as a writer, editor, and publisher, Didio has watched creative work evolve across multiple fronts. Always looking for the new, Didio has seen spirits culture change in front of and behind the scenes both in television and publishing. In a fast paced business, he sees the spirit as a means to pause, a moment one chooses to step back, relax, and share something with another person. If craft spirits are time and place in a bottle, that’s something special to be enjoyed and respected. There’s a conversation of tradition and culture here, an anchor in a busy industry, where even an hour to oneself is a prize.

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #4 Kate Fox

Kate Fox is a cosplayer and convention agent, originally from Portland, Oregon. In the past, she’s worked in comics retail, before studying writing and psychology in college. Soon after, she began designing, building and wearing costumes to local comic conventions. After a move to Los Angeles, she worked for Riot Games as a cosplay contractor for private events and onsite tours at their headquarters. She’s written for iCosplay Magazine and offers bespoke costume commissions to the local cosplay community. With her diverse perspectives on the cosplay, gaming, and comics, Fox has seen firsthand the myriad ways spirits function in creative fields. In this conversation, we discuss not just how spirits play into her own professional life, but how her own creative work and passions are surprisingly similar to that of craft producers. Each costume is a product of time, hands, and care, it’s the summation of weeks, months, or years, not unlike what awaits inside a bottle of craft spirits

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #5 Shea Fontana

Shea Fontana writes across multiple industries, from film and television to graphic novels and comics. As well, she’s ran shows from Nickelodeon and Mattel, and developed the bestselling multimedia franchise DC SUPERHERO GIRLS. She’s been a New York Times Bestseller, among a litany of other industry honors, and was declared by the London Free Press as

“not afraid to be corny.” Fontana’s own interest in spirits is constantly evolving. In this discussion, we’ll examine how she’s seen the social culture around spirits change, as well as how her own spirits knowledge has played into her life and creative interactions. With creative fields so often depending on networking, a shared knowledge and interest can be a huge asset, and spirits knowledge is no different.

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #6 Joel Kim Booster

Joel Kim Booster is a writer and comedian currently based in LA. His interests include cats, appointment television, various feuds, and other useless shit. Boosted co-hosted Quibi’s SINGLED OUT remake alongside Keke Palmer, and starred as Jun Ho in NBC’s SUNNYSIDE. His stand-up has been featured on THE LATE LATE SHOW with James Corden, CONAN, Netflix, Comedy Central and more. Outside of standup, he’s written for BIG MOUTH, THE OTHER TWO, BILLY ON THE STREET and more. Booster has carved his own road in comedy, and defined success on his own terms. In conversation, we’ll examine the expectations of our respective businesses and how we dodge, redefine, and overcome them. When offering something new in a crowded field, the only choice is to innovate – and it’s this concept that brings us together across comedy and craft spirits.

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #7 Nicolas Palazzi

Nicolas Palazzi joins the conversation to speak not just about his own winding path from engineer to importer, but about what comes after that. The creative mind is one that struggles against stagnation, and as this conversation series began, Nicolas’s work evolved again from importer to producer and bottler. Here, he speaks about his own appreciation for spirits as a creative product, growing up among farm distillers and producers with legacies that stretch back generations, raised among the faces and families behind the juice. Nicolas prepares to introduce PM Projects, a series of releases bottled from his own personal cellar, tracing his growth beyond simply importing craft spirits.

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #8 Ira Madison III

Writer and podcaster Ira Madison III is a former critic at The Daily Beast, GQ Magazine, as well as numerous other publications. Madison is currently the host of the Crooked Media podcast Keep It! along with writing for television. As a cultural critic, Madison is uniquely keyed into the changing face of social norms, interaction, and expectation. He’s seen the role spirits play in society as a whole evolve, as well as the role it plays in smaller microcultures. The shared drink, the celebration, a moment among friends, has always been a keystone in modern culture. Madison traces in this conversation the changes in his own tastes for spirits, as well as culture’s taste for how spirits factor into our lives.

Who’s Got the Juice?
Interview #9 Mike Kingston

Creator of the long running graphic novel series HEADLOCKED, which bridges the worlds of comics books, acting, and professional wrestling, Mike Kingston has from the start had to build his brand from scratch. Writing and producing a book that was and is unlike anything else on the stands, Kingston has had to take his piece of a market that wasn’t ready for him. Here, his work finds surprising connections with PM Spirits, and its initial entry into a market that wasn’t used to importers focusing solely on craft spirits. This is a connection made across wildly different industries, with insights by the minute about how no matter the creative endeavor, be it creating a new type of graphic novel, or a new type of importer, the work is more similar than different. It’s a conversation about drive and fidelity to one’s vision, and an appreciation for craft spirits as not just time in a bottle, but the work of passionate creatives.

Beast masters Podcast EP. 57

We know, we know. You don’t drink sherry. You think you it’s too niche, too sweet, cloying, too port-esque for a beast like you to sip on. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
